Store your files, pictures and videos with the Verbatim 16GB Premium U1 SDHC Memory Card. These SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity, SD 2.0) Cards are designed for compatible use with digital cameras, portable music players, camcorders, smart phones, PC’s and other consumer applications.
These SDHC Cards use a FAT32 file system for applications with higher capacity needs. For high-definition video, high-resolution digital photography and mobile applications demands a higher storage capacity and more demanding data transfer rates. Because of this, the SDHC cards guarantee a minimum sustained data transfer speed, not a maximum speed.
The cards are fully compliant with all applicable SD standards. They also contain a write project feature to prevent accidental erasure. They use the same physical format as SD cards but cannot be used with SD host devices that do not comply with SDA Specifications Version 2.0.
The speed class rating is the official unit of speed measurement for SD Cards defined by the SD Association. It is equal to 8 Mbit/s and measures a minimum write speeds based on the ldquo;the best fragmented state where no memory unit is occupied”. This SDHC memory card also has a class of class 10, which means you have the highest write speed available at 10MB/s or higher, giving you super-fast transfer speeds.
